Every time we get a recipe from one of our fans, we’re STUNNED at just how versatile our Real Food Bar Mix is!

Seriously, it isn’t just an awesome hack for making yummy bars at home–it also makes the yummiest energy balls in like, 5 minutes, flat!

Our bar mix is perfect for when you don’t have the time to pull out a ton of ingredients, but when you still want the option to get creative in the kitchen!

We are drooling over this super easy recipe from the lovely Hannah Magee, a Halifax-based registered dietician.


1 bag Real Food Bar Mix

1/2 cup natural peanut butter

1/3 cup honey

2/3 cup chopped dark chocolate

1 tsp coconut oil

2 Tbsp peanut butter, for drizzling

1Prepare Real Food Bar Mix as per the instructions, Steps 1-4, using peanut butter and honey.
2Once the dough is very well incorporated and there are no dry bits left, roll dough into golf-ball sized bites and put in freezer for a few minutes.
3Melt chocolate and coconut oil together, and when balls are chilled, dunk each one in the melted chocolate. Place on parchment paper lined tray/container and freeze again, until chocolate is set.
4Drizzle with your favourite nut butter for a little extra fun and enjoy! Will keep in the fridge for up to 5 days (but we doubt they'll last that long)!
