Our Real Food Bar Mix isn't just an awesome hack for making yummy bars at home - it also makes the yummiest energy balls in like, 5 minutes, flat!
We are drooling over this recipe from the lovely Hannah Magee, Halifax-based registered dietician.
1 bag Real Food Bar Mix
1/2 cup natural peanut butter
1/3 cup honey
2/3 cup chopped dark chocolate
1 tsp coconut oil
2 Tbsp peanut butter, for drizzling
Prepare Real Food Bar Mix as per the instructions, Steps 1-4, using peanut butter and honey.
Once the dough is very well incorporated and there are no dry bits left, roll dough into golf-ball sized bites and put in freezer for a few minutes.
Melt chocolate and coconut oil together, and when balls are chilled, dunk each one in the melted chocolate. Place on parchment paper lined tray/container and freeze again, until chocolate is set.
Drizzle with your favourite nut butter for a little extra fun, and enjoy! Will keep in the fridge for up to 5 days (but we doubt they'll last that long)!
